Jayceeoh has been on a roll with his SUPER 7 mix series and is back at it with the ninth installment we’ve been waiting for. For each of his mixes, Jayceeoh brings together a stacked list of artists and brings in some heavy hitters for his latest.

The extremely talented multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer FKJ is an artist whose versatility always keeps us on our toes. You never know when he might drop a live jam session like his recent captivating performance of an unreleased track in Red Bull Studios LA, or his mesmerizing performance at the Paris Museum of Modern Art. His wide-ranging talents were focused last year into his stunning debut album French Kiwi Juice, which won a #2 spot on the TSIS Top 20 Electronic Albums of 2017 list.

FKJ has now shared a brand-new track “TUI”. The instrumental offering begins with a fast-paced piano melody flitting over a warm, soft bass accentuated with the organic sound of chirping birds. This peaceful yet energizing mix of instruments occasionally breaks off for a moment to be replaced by a rolling bird call that seems to be acknowledging its listener. FKJ’s masterful ability to build a track from its foundation is on full display here, as piano chords, snare drums, and slowly building synths all come together into a beautiful crescendo at the end of the track. Just as the last chords fade away, the bird call appears one more time to signal the track’s end. Enjoy!

Constant innovation and never-ending experimentation have made Louis The Child some of our go-to producers for fresh electronic music. When they throw some collaboration in the mix, they’re guaranteed hit-makers. Recently they’ve dropped a piano-heavy track with Jacob Banks called “Diddy Bop”, a 6-track mixtape with Whethan called “Honey”, and sold out their Red Rocks headlining debut with Big Wild.

Now, keeping it fresh as ever, the Chicago-based duo have teamed up with Chicago rapper Joey Purp for the genre-blending banger “Shake Something”. The track sets the tone with two hits of a heavy bass note before Joey Purp comes in hot with party-ready vocals and LTC’s crisp production backing him up. At the end of each verse, LTC take back the spotlight with rapid-fire synths that will be the highlight of any live show.

Louis The Child - Shake Some (Ft. Joey Purp)

While there's some great festivals like Global Dance, Global Dub and Decadence, Colorado has not had the best luck with major music festivals in the past decade, with Mile High Music Festival, Snowball, and Riot Fest all being cancelled after several years. A new announcement today looks to be turning that tide though: Denver's new festival is officially set for Overland Golf Course this year on September 14th-16th and the name has been revealed as Grandoozy Music Festival.

The festival will not be a camping festival and includes culinary, art, beer and outdoor experiences in addition to music. 

Superfly, the company responsible for festivals such as Bonnaroo and Outside Lands, has been hyping up this event for over a year now, proposing that the three-day festival will bring 30,000-60,000 attendees. The multi-million dollar project was approved to be located at Overland Golf Course back in August of last year, which is located just south of downtown Denver. The approval gave them a five-year contract at that location, so if this first year goes well it sounds like something Coloradans can look forward to every September. They are expecting this first year to bring in around $2 million in ticket sales with additional revenue from tourists, and for attendance to double in the second year.

A press conference was held by Superfly today which announced the name of the festival, dates, and when we can expect the lineup announcement: in just a few weeks on March 20th. They also revealed a preliminary site map, which showed that the festival will have three or four stages. Today we have an amazingly chill new hip-hop collaboration from rising artist Tobi Lou and Smino, who released one of our favorite albums of the year last year. This time they’ve shared “TROOP” in the form of a must see new, cartoon-inspired music video directed by the extra talented Glassface.  

Tobi Lou is someone we’ve had an eye on for his irresistibly melodic songs that just get stuck in our head for days at a time. The chill, bright instrumental makes the perfect foundation for his buoyant singing and rapping to float atop. He creates hi own little world in the bright video that brings in Smino for the perfect compliment for the song and video. See below and enjoy!

Billie Eilish is without a doubt one of our favorite rising artists right now and we just can't get enough of her. The young artist has a unique sound with her forward-thinking production paired with irresistible singing and songwriting. 

Now TroyBoi does what he does best and put his amazing spin on her original track "MyBoi" that was already incredible to begin with. He's been on fire lately with his loose singles and remixes following the album last year. He reworks the production adding skittering, trappy percussion and new glitchy, bouncing melodies that work so well. Check out the remix below and enjoy!

Billie Eilish - MyBoi (TroyBoi Remix)

For over seven years, Christian Bauhofer, aka Minnesota has been solidifying himself as an absolute powerhouse bass-music producer. Having continued to grow and evolve his sound throughout five EP’s and numerous standalone singles, today the Berkeley-based producer has released his brand new, full length Curio EP.

Characterized in its entirety by deep, distorted bass, snappy percussion, lush synth sweeps and highly detailed sound design, this latest offering is sounding like some of Minnesota’s most cohesive and cinematic work to date. Starting off slow with some lighthearted bells and an obscure vocal sample explaining the death of a star, Minnesota sets the tone for the EP via the juxtaposition of powerful bass drops, slow melodic transitions and vibrant, percussive breaks on the EP’s intro track “Edge”. 

Throughout the following four tracks, listeners are taken on a sonic journey through space and time with the never before heard, drum-centric single “Technique” as well as the return of previously released single “Dark Crystal” and a DnB VIP version of “HiLow”. Although Minnesota’s unique sound has come quite a long way from its original characteristics, his current hard-hitting production style has already solidified him performances at numerous upcoming spring and summer festivals. Sango and Smino have a strong chemistry and sound like a match made in heaven just about every time they link up. Now the two soulful artists have linked up on a fire new song "Khlorine" that builds on the sound both artists have been known for. 

Sango's productions are always some of the smoothest out there so adding some laidback singing and rapping from Smino is just the perfect combination and we know we're going to be coming back to this one. Smino just shows no signs of slowing down after releasing one of our favorite albums last year and just dropping another great collaboration earlier this week on Tobi Lou's "TROOP." Enjoy!

Sango - Khlorine (Ft. Smino)

Ever since TSIS favorite Kasbo released his beautiful Cry / Dance Mix_01 fans of the young producer’s melodic, uplifting sound have been begging for another edition and today Kasbo ended the wait with his stunningly curated Cry / Dance Mix_02. The young Swedish producer’s track selection blew us away by delicately toeing the line between uplifting and melancholy, finding the perfect balance between the two that leaves the listener with a mix of emotions in the wake of such thoughtful music.

We’ve rarely seen a tracklist so stacked with appearances from ODESZA, Flume, Mura Masa, Tycho, Cashmere Cat, Louis The Child, DROELOE, and Jerry Folk. Kasbo also threw in a couple of unreleased tracks of his own, hinting at the amazing music we can expect off his debut album Places We Don't Know out March 23 via Foreign Family Collective / Counter Records. Vince Staples has been leading fans on an absolutely wild ride lately. Having recently launched a GoFundMe paired with a video in which he literally tells viewers “get off my dick, or fund my lifestyle”, today he’s taken his new PSA to the next level with a brand new single titled “Get The Fuck Off My Dick”.

Vince is wild for this one. Still riding the success of his sophomore album and fresh off a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar and TDE on their soundtrack album for “Black Panther”, it seems he’s gotten tired of criticism about his live performances. Referencing being snubbed at the 2018 Grammy awards and throwing out thoughts of early retirement, Vince goes in for nearly four minutes atop a hard-hitting, piano driven beat in this latest offering. Vince Staples - Get The Fuck Off My Dick

One of possibly the most epic sounding electronic festivals on the planet just got announced. The promoters behind Tomorrowland, the massive globally popular electronic festival are throwing Tomorrowland Winter a brand new festival over March 9th - 16th, 2019. Yes that's over a year away.

The festival will be taking place at one of the top ski resorts in the world Alpe D'Huez which is in the heart of the French Alps. Unlike other winter festivals, they are doing a full takeover of the ski resort and all people will be festival attendees which helps create the magical festival experience. This will also be 30,000 people.

There are two options for how to attend the festival with a "mysterious 7 day package" or a "fantastic 4 day package", which of course the mysterious package sounds like the way to go.

The packages include lodging, mountain passes to ski / snowboard for the entire time and access to the festival which takes place March 13th - 15th.

There are stages and areas spread all throughout the mountain / festival as you can see by their graphics.

You should start planning now, but you do have some time since 7 day packages go on sale September 8th and 4 day packages on September 15th.

SNBRN is gearing up for a brand new EP, and from the looks of it, it may be one of his best to date. SNBRN has been a consistent heavy-hitter in the deep house and G-house scene ever since we first heard of him back in 2014, but he always remained pretty versatile. With his newest track titled “Lovin’ Me”, the LA-based producer states that he’s “going back to his roots in house music and late night bangers for the club,” which can only mean good things, right?

Right. This may be our favorite version of SNBRN that we’ve heard. Although he’s always killed his deep house tracks, “Lovin’ Me” features an explosive bass line at the drops that you usually only encounter within the tech-house realm. Regardless of what you want to call it, “Lovin’ Me” is fire, and we’re hoping that the rest of SNBRN’s EP sounds similar. Enjoy!

Not only is he making new music, but he’s reported to be joined by quite the cast of collaborators likely including Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Nas, The-Dream, Mike Dean, Wheezy, A$AP Bari, King Louie and more due to them all being sighted in Wyoming where Kanye is recording. Last month the steadily rising Khalid shared “Love Lies” with Normani, a laidback Valentine’s Day single that allowed the two vocalists’ voices to step to the forefront. Today we’re stoked to premiere a vibrant remix of the track from Jimmie and Felix Palmqvist. These two rising producers are from the XO Collective, an artist collective that’s quickly gaining traction with bold remixes that reinvent original tracks in surprising ways. 

With their take on “Love Lies,” Jimmie and Felix Palmqvist have once again turned an already impressive release on its head. Where the original maintains a subdued production style, the two dial up the energy with a summery beat from the first note. The production builds into a short and sweet drop with heavily distorted vocals, bright synths and that same bouncy percussion that persists throughout the track. Quickly rising artist TASKA BLACK is back on the site with his stunning music video debut, a dark, expertly crafted visual experience for his new track “Dead Inside” ft. Ayelle. The bitbird signee has been generating quite the buzz this year with the release of two stunning singles, the melodic, accessible “Sandpaper” ft. Ayelle and the dark, powerful “We Would Never Do” ft. Nevve. TASKA even has an upcoming collaboration with the bitbird boss himself San Holo called “Right Here, Right Now”.

The “Dead Inside” music video invokes dark, sometimes surreal themes that blend imagery from funerals, car crashes, and the modern reality of staring at a computer screen in a dark room. This visual production seamlessly intertwines with TASKA’s heavy instrumental and Ayelle’s expressive vocals for an immersive, emotionally engaging experience. Enjoy!

Lil Dicky has done it again. Last year he shared one of the best music videos we’ve ever seen and he might have just outdone himself with this new song called “Freaky Friday” featuring Chris Brown. 

After Dicky and Chris brown both wishing they could be somebody else, their wishes come true in the best of ways. This is absolutely hilarious. Chris Brown sings from the perspective of Dicky waking up as Brown and testing out all the different things he can do in his new body. The same goes for Dicky. It gets better though as Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled and Kendall Jenner get involved. Check it out below and enjoy!

Brasstracks have been a favorite of ours for a couple years and just went up another notch. The jazzy duo just formed a sort of big band sharing an amazing studio session featuring 14 musicians playing a new live rendition of their song “Improv #1 (Intro)" featuring Robert Glasper and The Underachievers.

The result is amazing. Putting that many skilled musicians in a room together to re-create the song made for a special performance of their already great song. They all came together in Brooklyn’s Studio G linking up with The Underachievers to play their EP single ahead of their first headline tour. Check out the video below and enjoy!

It’s been a little over a month since diverse female producer Mija shared “Notice Me,” the second release off her debut HOW TO MEASURE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN LOVERS EP. The surprisingly emotional release marked an authentic new direction for the artist, as it’s the first time she sang on one of her own tracks. Her soothing vocals intertwined with the tender production impeccably, and it’s remained one of our favorite releases on the EP ever since.

Today Mija gifted us with the official video for “Notice Me,” and it’s made us fall in love with the track all over again.

The poignant video features Mija in a variety of locations, from beaches to fields to pacing around a neon-drenched room, all with blurry TV-static never too far away. The song’s stark shift from gentle production and vocals to an eastern, bass-heavy breakdown is marked in the video with surreal clips of flowers wilting, smoke blooming and more, with each emotional visual component falling in line with the arc of the song beautifully.
